Chrissy and Tim left the bustling city of Manhattan for a weeklong vacation with family and friends in Marathon. Opting for an intimate destination wedding in the Florida Keys over a large soiree in the city proved to be the right decision. It allowed them to spend time with those nearest and dearest to them while enjoying all that Marathon has to offer. They found a rental house large enough to fit their bridal party, and spent the week enjoying waterfront views, palm trees, and ocean breezes. The house doubled as their wedding venue, and you guys….it was gorgeous. See for yourselves…
Chrissy’s delicate Delphine Manivet dress is EVERYTHING! It’s actually a dress + top, which is so practical in my opinion. She was able to take the top off for the reception and have two totally different looks for the day. When you’re planning a destination wedding where the weather is variable, diversity is important.
I can’t lie, it was crazy windy this day. But Tim + Chrissy’s friends held strong onto the chuppah and it made for some amazing photographs. Wind = photographer’s friend. Every time.
Also, how sweet is Tim’s face as he watches Chrissy come down the aisle?
I LOVED this idea of using tiny Polaroids of the guests as the seating chart. Chrissy actually took their Facebook profile photo and printed glued them onto paper to achieve the appearance of Polaroids. GENIUS.
Ok so this party…The cops came so many times and threatened to shut it down but did we listen? Hell no. They went strong for as long as we possibly could. Crazy dancing ensued…
BIG THANK YOU to all the amazing vendors that helped make this intimate destination wedding in the Florida Keys a reality for Chrissy + Tim!
