Emily is one of those people that you can tell right away is 100% genuine. From the moment she contacted me about her wedding, I knew we would get along. She and Rob are incredibly laid back, and they laugh so easily together. It’s adorable! After talking about their vision for engagement photos, I knew the beach was the best option. Emily’s first beach choice didn’t work out because it was COVERED in seaweed, but after I suggested a Sombrero Beach engagement session, they were more than happy to make a change, even at the last minute. After seeing these photos, I KNOW we made the right choice!
See? All smiles, all the time.
Sombrero Beach has become one of my favorite spots in Marathon for engagement sessions. The light is gorgeous in the spring and summer time. Don’t Emily and Rob look like they are dripping in gold?! The city of Marathon has done an awesome job with the plant life after Hurricane Irma nearly destroyed the beach in 2017. You wouldn’t even recognize the photos from right after the storm!
Emily and Rob chose to include their fur babies in their engagement session. Sometimes I’m hesitant to include dogs in engagement sessions, only because I know as a dog mom myself, it’s hard to focus on anything else when your dog is running around. Luckily for these two, they had an awesome friend come along with them to hang with the pups once they were done. Aren’t they adorable?
A Sombrero Beach engagement session wouldn’t be complete unless we got in the water.
