REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS LIKE...

FALLING

in love?

My process lets you focus on that, not the other stuff. Because nothing else matters.

Wedding days are chaotic.  But I will stop at nothing to make sure you never feel an ounce of that chaos, so you can spend your day enjoying what you've created, and live in the moment.

THE alyssa morgan EXPERIENCE

While some photographers don't take the time to get to know or understand you, I believe it's essential that you feel heard and cared for - not just as a client, but as a person too. It's why I'll listen to learn more about you, your family dynamics, and your priorities. I'll communicate quickly and efficiently, approaching  your entire experience like a friend: ensuring you have everything you need-photography related or not.

Nothing happens on your wedding day by chance, at least not when it comes to my approach.  I work closely with you and your planner to ensure everything runs smoothly, so you can breeze through your day effortlessly, with images that stop you in your tracks.

Frequently asked questions

What is your pricing?

How do I confirm my wedding date?

In my experience, every celebration is different and comes with its own set of unique needs. With that said, I quote every wedding, elopement, and portrait session on an individual basis. My full service wedding collections begin at an investment of $7,500. Contact me via my website or email directly and I can send you a more specific outline of your investment once we have had an initial call.

Once you’ve selected your date and we’ve determined your coverage needs, I will prepare and send a photography contract for review. I ask that you return your signed contract within 7 days to ensure your date remains available. Once we receive your contract and retainer payment, your wedding date is officially booked! The final balance is due one month prior to your wedding date.

What is your approach to the wedding day?

I have a very hands-on approach to setting up a wedding day timeline—my goal is to ensure that you have the best natural light for every part of your celebration. I also prefer to help build the timeline together with your planner and designer to give you plenty of time to capture all of your desired portraits and photographs throughout the day with a few buffers for down time to ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable experience. I balance art directing, styled detail shots and portraits, all while capturing the moments that happen organically. The end result yields a beautiful balance of people, details and emotion.

What are image turnaround times?

I am focused on creating exquisite art using the finest methods with quality products. I have a passion for the details, leading be to carefully curate and present each and every project we photograph. Turnaround times for engagement and portrait sessions average 4 to 6 weeks. Turnaround times for wedding images is 10 to 12 weeks.

Should I make a List of Desired Photos?

Wedding planning is hard enough without having to recreate the wheel; my thorough and detail oriented approach ensures you’ll have more photos than you could ever need or want.  I do recommend bringing to our attention any special people, planned moments, or unique details you’d like to capture that we might not know to anticipate. On your wedding day, please have the rings, dress, shoes, jewelry and any other heirlooms you’d like in the photos in the bridal suite. I will spend the first hour of our coverage shooting your details and final hair/makeup.

Do the proofs and online gallery include all of the images you take or do you provide a limited number of images?

WHen will you arrive at our wedding destination?

What if it rains? What if we have to reschedule/relocate due to weather or natural disaster?

The final images we post in the online gallery—typically 50-100 per hour of coverage—are a curated selection based on content and composition. We include only the best quality images from each setup or angle. Omitted images may include blinking, unflattering expressions, and/or blur. All final images receive color corrections and exposure adjustments before we present them in the online gallery and/or as 4.5x6” printed proofs according to your selected collection.

I always plan to arrive on location at least the morning prior to the wedding or first event I am photographing, and often several days prior for international events. This time frame allows for any unforeseen travel delays, and gives me time to get acclimated to the area, including scouting the venue and shooting locations. During scouting, I often begin taking location and “scene” shots, which help narrate the complete story of your wedding. Once we arrive we also like to collect important details like a welcome bag, favor or other items we will be photographing in addition to the paper suite.

While rain on your wedding day is considered lucky to some, it can certainly make things more complicated. However, I've navigated the challenges weather can pose time and time again; after all, I do live in South Florida where hurricane season runs 6 months a year! I work together with your wedding planner to come up with a strong Plan B, and even a Plan C. Ultimately, in these circumstances, this is when my experience, expertise and resourcefulness pay off in dividends. Should extreme weather threaten your wedding day to the point of needing to reschedule, each wedding and each situation is unique, and that's how we handle them. But know this, we will stop at nothing to ensure your wedding day is perfect, rain or shine.
