The Perfect Venue
When trying to decide on a wedding venue, Michelle and Andy didn’t have to look far. They live in Andy’s childhood home, a gorgeous Coral Gables location with the perfect garden setting for a wedding. How special that they were able to use the groom’s childhood home for their wedding day?
Michelle is a classically gorgeous bride, in my opinion. And her Vera Wang dress fit her like a glove. Sometimes there are dresses that are just made for the bride, and this was definitely one of those times. I also LOVE how she added that awesome sheer jacket under her gown. Such a cool way to personalize a wedding gown.
Michelle and Andy decided to do a first look before the ceremony. This allowed them to get all of the portraits done before the wedding. Not only were they able to get the bride and groom photos done, but also all of the family photos and portraits with their bridal party. Luckily, we didn’t have to leave the house for photos; literally every corner of the property was picture perfect.
I’m OBSESSED with these florals from Simple Florals. They are the perfect mix of subtle and wild, and fit right in with the vibe of this Coral Gables wedding.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony was so special. Both of Michelle’s parents walked her down the aisle. Andy’s father stood next to him at the altar, and the emotion on his face was so sweet. Andy’s mom had passed away a few years prior, which added to his emotion, but the pride on his face is something I’ll never forget.
The Reception
The reception set up was insane. Simple Florals and Simple Rustic made even MY dreams come true, it was GORGEOUS!
Aside from the traditional reception events, Michelle and Andy also surprised their guests with Carnival dancers. What a way to end a party, OMG!
