Alannah and Victor chose an October elopement in Paris, when the weather is nothing short of perfection. There is a beautiful chill in the air, the streets are less crowded, and the sky at night is breathtaking. If your schedule allows, I would highly recommend visiting Paris – and France in general – in autumn when temperatures have cooled and the tourism has calmed. You won’t regret it.
This elopement in Paris was planned and designed by none other than Lynn with LuxWedding. Lynn has been a luxury destination planner for over a decade. Her calm demeanor and eye for detail are just what you’re looking for when planning an intimate affair or party-all-night wedding in the destination of your dreams. I cannot recommend her enough!
A Fashion Forward Affair
Alannah is a girl after my own heart, with fashion being her central reason for wanting an elopement in Paris. She chose not one but three Galia Lahav gowns. Dripping in glamour, each dress was a head turner. Each gown was paired with bespoke jewelry from By LEA, a jewelry designer in Luxembourg.
We started their shoot at La Maison De Centraliens, a luxury venue where the couple was staying during their time in Paris. Later in the evening, this is where they would have an intimate dinner before the evening portion of our shoot. Celine with Les Herbes Folles created a stunning tablescape and bouquet in dramatic autumn colors.
After leaving the hotel, we wandered the streets of Paris, passing the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower before a quick outfit change, making our way to the Louvre.
The Louvre is typically crowded, even on a quiet day, but the couple had complete faith in me to capture the romance of the venue without interruption. We used the stunning architecture of the surrounding building to create dreamy images you can only create in Paris.
After a private vow exchange and an intimate dinner for two, I met up with Alannah and Victor once again for some evening portraits with the Eiffel Tower illuminated in the background.
This was truly a dream come true for me, and I know this elopement in Paris was just as much of a dream come true for this gorgeous couple.
