There are so many beautiful resorts in the Florida Keys, but one of my favorites is Isla Bella in Marathon! This luxury resort sits between Key West and Key Largo, so it’s the perfect spot for a destination wedding. Maddie and Zach originally were planning a wedding in Virginia but had to cancel due to the pandemic. Like so many couples, they had to quickly re-plan fo a Spring wedding! The couple wanted their wedding to be all about family, friends, and their love for one another. Lane Stewart Events worked hard to make sure this wedding went off without a hitch! They worked with the couple to create and design a gorgeous wedding, filled with so many design details.
For their spring wedding, they chose a classic color palette of soft shades of blue, and lots of white and cream. The bridesmaids wore chiffon dresses in various shades of dusty blue. Zach wore a black suit, while the groomsmen wore navy suits. The flowers were all white, with large roses, and lots of greenery. I loved Maddie’s gown, which was a modern crepe sheath with an off-the-shoulder detail. It was not just modern, but timeless and perfect for their ocean-side wedding.
Coastal Wedding at Isla Bella
The couple started their wedding day getting ready in suites at Isla Bella. One of the best parts of this resort is that not only can guests stay there, but the bridal party can too! It lets everyone be in one spot, which makes it a fun wedding weekend. This is also one of the few venues in the Florida Keys that gives you both ceremony and reception spaces on site.
Their ceremony took place on the beach, with an incredible view of the ocean. Large palm trees provided the guest shade, and a soft ocean breeze kept everyone cool and comfortable. The bridal party stood on the dock, as the couple said their vows to one another. It was the most beautiful ceremony!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a beachside cocktail hour, while I took the newlywed’s portraits. We walked around the beautiful grounds of the resort and soaked in the sunset. Their reception took place under the evening sky, right on the beach. It was the perfect spring wedding in the Keys!
