Natalie and Richard’s destination wedding was not just gorgeous, but so much fun! This couple was smiling all night long, and the dance floor was always full. The couple lives in NYC, but wanted a warm destination wedding. Key West was the perfect spot since it was an accessible destination for their family and friends. They love the beach and palm trees, so the Keys were an easy choice!
They chose the Waldorf Casa Marina Resort, which is one of my favorite venues in the Florida Keys. This venue isn’t just gorgeous, but is full service! Everything you need is right at this incredible resort. Guests never have to leave! Both the bridal party, family, and friends can all stay right at the resort. This is such a huge bonus for destination weddings. This is one of the few venues that have both ceremony and reception spots on site. Most in the area do require you to host them in two different locations. While the Keys are small, there is still traffic, and moving from ceremony to reception can take a while.
Sunset Reception at Waldorf Casa Marina Resort
Built by Henry Flagler in the 1920’s, Waldorf Casa Marina Resort is classic Florida, with modern details. Its exclusive beach-front makes it the perfect spot for couples who want their wedding weekend to also be a mini-vacation. There is a luxurious spa, adult-only pool, and incredible amenities.
With such a gorgeous backdrop, the couple chose to keep the wedding classic and romantic. The men wore black tuxedos, while the bridal party wore blush. Natalie wore the Ryder gown by Made With Love Bridal. The fitted style with a plunging neckline and low back was absolutely perfect for this stunning bride. It was the perfect mix of classic but fun!
Their ceremony took place on the beach, overlooking the ocean. The soft ocean breeze made for beautiful pictures, as Natalie’s cathedral-length veil swirled around her. After they said I Do, we walked around the beautiful grounds of the Waldorf Casa Marina. The sunset added a beautiful golden glow. This couple was just so giddy, and couldn’t stop cuddling and kissing! It was such a beautiful story to capture.
The reception took place on the beach, with cafe lighting adding a glow as the sunset. Guests danced all night long, and there was never a slow moment! Everyone was having so much fun, and enjoyed this perfect evening. I know you are going to love this wedding as much as I do! Congratulations, Natalie and Richard!
