Ok I hate to start a post like this, but you guys have seen Bloodline, right? If not, stop reading this and go watch season 1 (it’s the best one, in my opinion). Done? Ok. I shot an engagement session at The Moorings AKA THE RAYBURN HOUSE!

It was everything I hoped for and more. Totally fell in love with the property, as did Erin and Nick. Seriously, it’s like being on your own private island. It’s lush, quiet, and totally secluded. Perfect for engagement photos.

I met Erin a few months ago when she was in town with her mom and aunt scouting some locations for her and Nick’s wedding. They live in New York, so trying to plan a wedding from thousands of miles away is difficult. Erin packed as much as she could into that trip, and I’m thrilled that we were able to meet! We clicked right away and her family is just the sweetest. Erin left feeling confident in her choices, and a few weeks later she brought Nick down to make it all official….and shoot some super steamy photos at their engagement session at The Moorings, of course 😉

I probably could have photographed them in this cabana ALL. DAMN. DAY, but we had plans to go for a swim. The people that run The Moorings were so great; they raked out the beach for us so we didn’t have to endure the crazy amount of seaweed that had been hanging around the beaches all day. We really could not have asked for a better location for this session. If you are looking for a place to host a small wedding, or even to have your engagement photos taken, I highly recommend reaching out to them.

So in conclusion, I’m moving to The Moorings.
