This Hawk’s Cay wedding must have come straight out of my dreams. Honestly the details and decor were gorgeous, but that isn’t what made this wedding so special. I really feel like Katherine and Robert were absolutely made for each other. They compliment one another so well, and I am so honored to have been chosen as their photographer.
This Hayley Paige gown you guys….STUNNING. Just wait until you see it on Katherine. Serious mermaid vibes.
The ladies at Ciao Bella Salon in Islamorada killed it, as always. They are so professional and do an amazing job, not only for the bride, but the bridal party and family as well. I highly recommend them!
And here she is….like a mermaid that just stepped out of the damn ocean, right?! I really think this dress was MADE for her <3
First Look
Aaaah the first look!! My favorite. If these photos aren’t enough to prove to you why they are so special, you can read more about them in this blog I wrote a while back.
One thing I really liked about this Hawk’s Cay wedding, was that Katherine wasn’t afraid to ask for exactly what she wanted. She had a vision and executed it so well. This banyan tree is pretty hidden, so we asked permission to get back there, and it was SO WORTH IT!!!
Bridal Party
These bridesmaids dresses are everything. Super flattering on everyone and this is one of those rare bridesmaid dresses you can totally wear again and again. Not surprisingly, Show Me Your Mumu made them!
The Ceremony
Marathon Florist knocked this bridal bouquet (and all of the other florals) out of the park! I love Dori because there is nothing she can’t do, I swear.
Reception Details
One of the first questions I ask my couples is, “Are you working with a wedding planner?” and I was THRILLED when Katherine said her and Robert were working with Peggy from Destination Wedding Studio. Peggy and I work together a lot and she just has such a way with her couples and with weddings. Because of this, she has become one of my favorite coordinators.
Katherine and Robert, thank you for including me in your wedding day. It’s for sure one I will never forget! <3
