One thing that I really want to highlight from Caitlin + Josh’s Cheeca Lodge elopement is the amazing video that Kurt put together. It’s seriously my FAVE! They were so laid back, had a zoom wedding ceremony, and were just surrounded by so much LOVE!!!
In fact, when describing their wedding in three words, they said, “whole lotta love”. When looking at the photos, that’s exactly what you feel.
The towering and crossed palms, dazzling turquoise water, and sandy beaches of the Cheeca Lodge made the perfect tropical Florida Keys venue for Caitlin + Josh’s beautiful ceremony and the start of their marriage. These two beach and ocean lovers fell in love with Cheeca Lodge not only for the beauty of Islamorada, but for the convenience of everything in one spot, that allowed for everyone to hang in one place and truly soak up the weekend of fun.
After taking some gorgeous getting ready photos, the couple met under the stunning crossed palms archway for a first look.
Allison of Golden Pineapple Events coordinated and helped with touch ups so everything went smoothly for the couple.
Caitlin’s lace dress was absolutely stunning amongst the sand, water, and palms, and Josh’s blue Brooks Brothers suit complimented it perfectly… but can we take a minute to appreciate her veil in the wind?!
Caitlin and Josh had never had photos taken and requested lots of direction. I think they absolutely rocked these shots by the water and down the pier. These two were naturals, and honestly, you can just feel the love.
Afterwards, the reception was set up beautifully amongst the palms, in the sand, and pool side for sunset right there at the lodge.
